Job Description: Business Development Manager Reporting to the Head of Mobile Financial Services, the Business Development Manager is responsible to generate leads and manage pipeline of potential corporate customers and is also responsible for to create development plans, forecasting sales targets and growth projections. Role Responsibilities Corporate and Merchants Sales Evaluates value of potential clients, and capacity of MFS to deliver service (with Head of Technical Operations and Head of Sales), prior to preparing proposals Creates tailored and generic proposals for potential customers Responds to RFPs for tendered projects Ensures solution customer wants/needs are aligned to the solution MFS PNG can deliver Prepares MOUs, Process Documents, Payment Requests and Transaction Report Templates for customers during on-boarding stage Ensures that clients are advised on how to maximize the usage of new product/service Manages relationship with clients to ensure that they receive the level of service they deserve and resolve any issues arising· Identifies additional avenues for revenue generation within each company on boarded to ensure more integration and higher value proposition from MFS Works with relevant stakeholders to plan the launch of new services and new initiatives New Products and Business Initiatives Identifies market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels Meet existing and potential clients and building positive relationships Liaises with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies Prepares financial projections and sales targets Attend events such as exhibitions and conferences Prepares sales presentations and participating in sales meetings Produces reports and performance tracker for share with management Train MFS staff and internal/External stakeholders in new service to be launched Handover new services and new initiatives to sales team after the implementation phase Customer Understanding Undertakes research to understand specific industry needs in order to be better prepared to articulate product benefits to potential customers Plans and conducts surveys and mystery shopping exercises to ascertain the quality of MFS services provided Job Requirements: Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s degree or Diploma Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Corporate Sales, Account Management, Distribution, Marketing, Project Management, Customer service, etc Conflict Management and Negotiation skills Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Apply Today via PNG.Recruitment@digicelpacific.com.
